Why lists disagree
One author may rank for expert competitive play, another for the average public server. One may reward maximum potential, another reliable execution. You understand the range, can preserve stamina, and reproduce the main punish. Keep it for serious matches.
Promising
The tools fit, but a special condition or matchup still needs practice. Continue controlled rounds.
Specialist
The style works in a narrower plan or requires more execution than you currently want. Save it if the challenge is enjoyable.
Poor current fit
You cannot yet make its range or rhythm reliable. That describes your present fit, not permanent game-wide power.
These bands survive balance changes better than copied letters because they describe observed decisions. Revisit a “poor current fit” after your fundamentals improve or the live description changes.
Place Surgeon and Dempsey cautiously
Surgeon is community-corroborated as a Mythic style and appears in current rankings, but its update proximity makes precise placement fragile. Recent sources describe a target-focused Pinpoint identity with debuff pressure, yet the official public text does not publish exact effects. Rank it only after confirming its live UI and behavior. Dempsey is the name current community references associate with the former Ippo style. Its close-range identity can be powerful for a player who manages entries, but renaming and rework context make older Ippo rankings poor direct evidence. Use the Dempsey Style guide and judge the current client.

Do not reroll a comfortable style merely to chase one letter. Do not quote exact damage from a list that lacks a version. Do not combine old Ippo claims with current Dempsey without testing. If you enjoy an Uncommon or Rare style, keep using it long enough to distinguish a kit limitation from a fundamentals problem.
